The collective
Penombra is not a payroll. It is a standing invitation — colourists, sound designers, gaffers and editors who move between our projects and their own, and who answer when a shoot needs them.

Six Tuesdays · from 4 August 2026
Grading from scratch on real footage — scopes, shot matching, and the taste to know when to stop. Bring a laptop and a sequence you have given up on.
Nine days on location · 9–17 November 2026
A small crew, one camera, and weather that does not negotiate. We shoot at first and last light and cut in the hut between. Manaakitanga and meals included.
Six-month mentorship · rolling intake
One director, one film, one editor from the collective beside you the whole way. For the project you have been circling for years and cannot finish alone.
